LOVE IT OR RETURN IT

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. We will arrange a courier pick up for a flat fee of $50 plus a 20% restocking fee per item.

Please note, our standard $50 flat fee for arranging a courier pick-up does not apply to orders from locations classified as No Service Areas. For these specific areas, the courier pick-up fee will be calculated based on the courier's pricing structure and will need to be paid for by the customer.

The No Service Areas are defined by certain postcodes which are listed on our Shipping Policy page.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@iconicrugs.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return questions at support@iconicrugs.com.au.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Will the product delivery time remain the same throughout the year?

No, there are certain times when late delivery is not uncommon. And it occurs usually from Autumn through to Winter and at the end of the Financial Year (June/July) and Christmas/NY/Holiday Break (December/Jan) and it doesn't take more than 3 to 6 days. Otherwise, the time is not exceeded.

Description

Asiatic Avalon Forest Designer Rug Crafted in 100% wool with a hand woven construction, this rug brings an earthy, forest-inspired presence to your space. The open weave centre adds texture and depth, framed by tonal borders and fringed edges for quiet sophistication. The 4 mm pile delivers cushioned comfort underfoot, making it practical for everyday living in living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas, from our Asiatic Designer Rugs collection.

Why you'll love it

  • Captivating design: An open weave centre creates a subtle grid texture with tonal borders and fringed edges that add depth without dominating the space.
  • Sophisticated colour palette: Forest greens mingle with warm cream and taupe undertones, producing a versatile look that pairs beautifully with neutrals, timber floors and natural fibres.
  • Open weave texture: The airy weave offers visual interest and light reflection while maintaining a soft, walkable surface.
  • Construction/texture quality: 4 mm wool pile provides a cushioned underfoot feel with durable hand woven craftsmanship for everyday wear.

Perfect for

Living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas where you want a natural, grounding backdrop. Pair it with timber furniture, flax linen and forest-toned cushions to echo the rug’s earthy tones. It also suits a hallway or study, adding warmth without overpowering the space.

Caring for your rug

  • Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting to keep the pile fresh and beautiful.
  • Rotate occasionally for even wear and to minimise sunlight impact.
  • Blot spills promptly, then spot clean with mild detergent and water.

Good to know

IMPORTANT TIP: For safety and extra cushioning, use an anti slip underlay such as Total Grip. Colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor settings. This item delivers to street addresses only, not PO Boxes. These rugs are airfreighted from our partner in the UK and can take up to 10 business days to reach our Sydney warehouse before we ship them out.

Vacuum regularly with a soft-brush head and rotate your rug every few months for even wear. Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Some shedding is normal for wool and jute rugs at first and settles over time. An anti-slip rug pad keeps your rug flat, comfortable and secure.
