LOVE IT OR RETURN IT

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. We will arrange a courier pick up for a flat fee of $50 plus a 20% restocking fee per item.

Please note, our standard $50 flat fee for arranging a courier pick-up does not apply to orders from locations classified as No Service Areas. For these specific areas, the courier pick-up fee will be calculated based on the courier's pricing structure and will need to be paid for by the customer.

The No Service Areas are defined by certain postcodes which are listed on our Shipping Policy page.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@iconicrugs.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of gift cards.

Exchanges

Will the product delivery time remain the same throughout the year?

No, there are certain times when late delivery is not uncommon. And it occurs usually from Autumn through to Winter and at the end of the Financial Year (June/July) and Christmas/NY/Holiday Break (December/Jan) and it doesn't take more than 3 to 6 days. Otherwise, the time is not exceeded.

Description

Darren Palmer Heirloom Plum Rug An oversized central medallion in a moody plum palette sits at the heart of this timeless piece, with subtle accents of dusty rose, taupe and ivory that soften the design. The durable polyester pile is power loomed to deliver a refined, historic look underfoot, crafted in Turkey for a stylish yet practical addition to your space from our Darren Palmer rug collection.

Why you'll love it

  • Captivating design: A bold, traditional medallion is enhanced by delicate floral and scroll motifs, finished with a gentle, vintage wash that gives a lived-in elegance.
  • Sophisticated colour palette: Rich plum and mulberry tones blend with warm taupe, sand and ivory, creating depth while remaining versatile against neutral furniture and timber floors.
  • Antique charm, modern practicality: The distressed patina and time-worn appearance pair beautifully with contemporary interiors without sacrificing durability.
  • Construction and texture: 6mm pile height on a polyester base, power loomed for consistent weave, offering a soft feel with dependable durability.

Perfect for

Ideal for living rooms and bedrooms where a statement rug anchors seating and adds warmth. Pair with beige or taupe walls and natural timber furniture to let the plum tones shine, or layer over a neutral rug for a subtle, sophisticated contrast.

Vacuum regularly with a soft-brush head and rotate your rug every few months for even wear. Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Some shedding is normal for wool and jute rugs at first and settles over time. An anti-slip rug pad keeps your rug flat, comfortable and secure.
